Mission Accomplished
Petts Wood once again turned out in its thousands on Saturday 6th August to enjoy the one day music festival in its new home at the Memorial Hall & Gardens.
The feedback received has all been very positive. Everybody loved the setting and of course all the bands who along with the BBQ, hog roast, face painting and bars made it the perfect family day out. A lot of hard work went into organsing this event so it was very rewarding to see Petts Wood come together like this.
The festival was opened by the Mayor, Cllr David McBride and our MP Jo Johnson was certainly impressed as were Cllrs Tony Owen and Simon Fawthrop who were also enjoing the day.
This year we managed to raise £5000 for our nominated charities.

MORE LIVE MUSIC
The British Legion in Queensway Petts Wood are looking to host regular live music nights featuring the cream of local musical talent but need people to help organise and run these nights. Are you interested?
The ideal candidates would be enthusiastic gig goers possibly frequenters of similar venues such as the Railway Hotel or the Beaverwood Club.
The hope is to get decent live music closer to home for local live music fans.
